So…you have a group that just isn’t motivated?! “Mighty Groan!” Here is a secret… pretending to be excited = excitement.
Have your students “warm up” by practicing the rules each class period (remember they are probably not doing this in other classes yet), then have them wiggle, shake hands, spin heads and say “I’m so EXCITED!” Before you know it, they will be… you might even get a little excited yourself!
Also, you could you the "Volume-O- Meter" that Chris has to practice in different levels... getting them excited! Oh Yeah!!!
